This week on Twitter, I tweeted a video about lion cubs(https://youtu.be/TeCkm-BEZ-8). This video talks about the early life of lion cubs, how they bond with each other as well as their parents. The early stages of the cubs life play an important role in teaching them about hunting tactics like pouncing an stalking. Another article I posted was some facts to know about lions; for example did you know that a lion weighs over 250 pounds and can run as fast as 50 mph?
Further on Twitter I tweeted about my research about how lionesses reduce interactions during the times their cubs are stillborn, and how as the cubs come of age, they have to fight for their place in the pride.
For the blog posts, I replied to Raffi, Jennifer, and Alexandria. Raffi's post on how dogs can understand human cognition was very interesting, he also talked about self-recognition in dogs. Jennifer like me is researching lions and hence her post about captive lion bonding gave me new ideas about my own research. Alexandria's topic was rather interesting for me as I never imagined bees could be a so smart. It was enlightening to know how bees waggle dance to communicate
Raffi's review on Harsh's AB:
Overall, great job! Your articles look like some solid sources for your LR. Your annotations are good, but you made the same mistake I did, you didn't mention the author's credibility. As for your website, it looks amazing. Wix is still kind of confusing to use for me, but glad to see that you got the hang of it.
My review on your AB Page:
1. Big sources:
Your sources look like the correct ones we needed. I also noticed two out of three of your sources are from the early 1990s while the third is from 2011. Although they’re from different times, they all seem to talk about the same thing: hunting behaviors of lions.
2. annotation:
You did well on summarizing the main points of the study, however there was no information on the credibility of the authors. That introduction will definitely be important in your paper.
3. web design:
I really enjoy the design! The aesthetic is very pleasing to look at, especially with the images behind the text. I enjoy the simplicity of the title…
